Mercedes where expected to do very well in China, especially after their strong results in the first two rounds and bp_V8’s history of pace and consistency in previous seasons but the choice to use the wrong compound, plus an early puncture sent the championship into a frenzy.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom for Ferrari though as Mike qualified 5th and was leading before the end of the first lap and held the position for the remainder of the Grand Prix.

It was also a great day for Williams and Mclaren as they scored good points in China and they hope to be continuing the successful run into the next round.
