505 games, the publisher behind Kunos Simulazioni’s Assetto Corsa Competitzione (ACC) have just announced that the racing sim most people thought would be a PC only game. Mainly due to it’s enourmous requirements to run on PC’s, will soon be released on both Xbox One and PS4 come June 23rd, 2020.
For those eager, pre-ordering ACC will ensure you have access to the recently released Intercontinental GT DLC, which added fan favourites like Bathurst and Laguna Seca but you’ll need to do so before June 23, 2020, otherwise it is available as paid DLC after Launch.
Along with the Console release date we also got details about upcoming content, which is for both PC and the upcoming console release.
- This April, the free Assetto Corsa Competizione v1.4 update for PC Steam will introduce new features – including the car showroom, new driver/car personalization choices and additional options for multiplayer servers – and lots of improvements of the game features, UI and algorithms.
- The GT4 Pack paid DLC, adding +10 new GT4 cars, will be available this summer on PC Steam, and this fall on consoles.
- The British Pack paid DLC, offering 3 new iconic circuits that complete the 7-race calendar of the British GT Championship, will be available this winter for both PC Steam and consoles.
We have added the screenshot gallery, which contains console version screenshots. Considering the age of the PS4 and Xbox in 2020, they seem to have done a pretty good job of compromising performance, while maintaining the wow factor of ACC’s visuals.
While a noticeable drop in visual fidelity, from the PC version of ACC. Those who thought racing ACC on console was a mere fairy tail. This wish is one that has been fulfilled and im sure the compromise will be worth it.
Releasing on PS4 and Xbox – June 23rd, 2020
